Gallery: CGI Models and Meshes
The adventures of Space: 1999 continue with fan-inspired creations. 3D artists can download the latest models and meshes, submitted by fellow fans. Content is continually under development for this section. If you wish to contribute, please see our Open Content Model (OCM) guidelines, and send us an e-mail. Thank you!
We're seeking contributions by artists/designers who use Poser (by e frontier) or other character design software, like Character Studio (by Autodesk). We enjoy offering spaceship models and meshes, although we'd also like to offer spacesuited people, uniformed people from Year One and Year Two, etc.). Please let us know if you are interested.
This section is designed to spotlight computer generated image (CGI) models and meshes (ie. for fans to create their own images, exchange artwork and models, etc.). We welcome your submissions in Poser, Lightwave, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Rhino, Electric Image, Bryce, Ray Dream Studio, Blender, Solidworks, POVray and various other formats.
We DO accept various saved preset files, such as lunar terrain for Terragen, Bryce, WorldBuilder, MojoWorld, etc.
If you're a modeler of other Gerry Anderson shows and need to host your model/mesh, feel free to contact us, too! We may be willing to host your work, provided it can be made available for free to the general public for download.

![]() | [Moray and POV-Ray formats.] Eagle transporter. | George Leonberger | ![]() |
![]() | [3D Studio Max 2 format.] Eagle transporter.
From the author: "This model is much more accurate than my previous Eagles. It is a Max2 file and has 296 separate objects which are not linked in any way at the moment. The surface maps are all new and are in a separate file. Note that this model is not in the same scale as the other Eagles and pods. You will have to resize the winch pod, booster, etc. to use them with this new model." | James Murphy | ![]() (Eagle model; 4.37M) ![]() (surface maps; 722k) |
![]() | [Lightwave format.] Eagle transporter.
From the author, Fabio Passaro: "The talented James Murphy from the 3D Studio Max world made the original mesh. I got it from his site and converted it to Lightwave - optimised the mesh for Lightwave and now with his permission I'm providing my version of his mesh for you to download!." | Fabio Passaro/James Murphy | ![]() |
![]() | [Lightwave format.] Eagle transporter.
From the author, James Murphy: "The Lightwave version of this model is in one .zip file and contains all the surface maps. The conversion was done by Andy Marrs who has done a great job." | James Murphy/ Andy Marrs | ![]() |
![]() | [Lightwave format.] Eagle transporter.
From the author, James Murphy: "The second Lightwave version by Edward E. Lamb reduces the face count of the original model (from about 300,000 to 145,000), without loosing any detail. There is one zip file which does not contain the surface maps, so you will need the surface maps file above" | James Murphy/ Edward E. Lamb | ![]() |
![]() | [3DS format.] Eagle transporter.
From the author: "There are two files for this model: One which contains the Eagle and two pods: one white and one with red stripes (note they exactly lay on top off each other so you will have to hide or delete the one you do not want to render). The other file contains all the bitmaps for the surface textures." | James Murphy | ![]() ![]() (surface maps; 354k) |
![]() | [3D Studio Max 2 format.] Eagle transporter.
From the author: "All the Max2 version of the Eagle files have been improved (6 July 1998). There is a different structure to the files, no maps are now contained in the zipped files, they are available as one file." (Note: Even if you have the original Eagle maps from James Murphy, you will still need the file below, as many of them have been re-named and some others are different.) | James Murphy | ![]() (surface maps; 496k) |
![]() | [3DS and 3D Studio Max 2 formats.] Eagle body. | James Murphy | ![]() (3DS; 247k) ![]() (3D Studio Max 2; 365k) |
![]() | [3DS and 3D Studio Max 2 formats.] Eagle pods.
From the author: "There is one main pod, but with two side walls on top of each other (one has the Rescue Pod red stripes). Simply hide or delete the one you don't want to render." | James Murphy | ![]() (3DS; 1.34M) ![]() (3D Studio Max 2; 2.01M) |
